Kawambwa, Zambia – 22nd July, 2026 – Vice President Dr. W.K. Mutale-Nalumango has urged public servants in Kawambwa District to remain professional, accountable and committed to delivering quality public services, saying their dedication is critical to the successful implementation of Government programmes.
Speaking during a meeting with civil servants, Dr. Mutale-Nalumango emphasized the important role the Public Service plays in delivering development to communities and improving the lives of citizens.

The Vice President also assured civil servants that the improvements in electricity supply being witnessed across the country are sustainable, attributing the progress to deliberate investments by the New Dawn Government in diversified energy sources, particularly solar power.
She said the long-term investments are aimed at strengthening Zambia’s energy security and supporting economic growth.
During her visit, Dr. Mutale-Nalumango also met with members of the clergy, whom she urged to continue praying for those in positions of authority and for peace, unity and national development.
