Kawambwa, Zambia – 3rd September, 2026 – Kawambwa Town Council Director Planning, Mr. Wezzie Phiri, and Public Relations Officer, Ms. Mwango Kapalaula, took to the airwaves to engage members of the public and provide clarity on some of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) surrounding the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The radio engagement on Lukwanga FM came at an important time as the Council continues to sensitise communities on the ongoing CDF application process, with applications running until 30th September 2026.
The discussion provided an opportunity for residents and other constituents to better understand the various CDF opportunities available, the application requirements, eligibility criteria and the importance of submitting applications through the appropriate channels and within the stipulated timeframe.
Constituents are encouraged to make use of this opportunity and ensure that eligible applications are submitted before the deadline, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
The Council further urges members of the public to remain vigilant against individuals requesting money in exchange for access to CDF opportunities.
